No Such Thing as a Self-less Act

Everyone is biased. Everyone who has any sense of morals or priorities would put their morals or priorities first. The only human who could be apathetic enough to not be biased is a coma victim. Just like there is no such thing as a completely selfless act. No matter what reason, that reason is what you desire. If it is out of the goodness of your heart, you like that "warm, fuzzy feeling inside". If it is against your best interests, you are probably a self-loathing masocist. If you gritt your teeth and do the homework you hate more than anything in the world, it's because you so badly want to get rid of that damned nagging voice in the back of your head saying "You'll be SORRY". No matter what, if you think about it even for an instant, there is a reason you WANT to do it. Even if you go against all your priorities, all your morals, against everything you've been taught all your life, you'll still be doing it just to prove me wrong.
