One night , one the these majestic creatures ventured into the heart of New Orleans.  It just happened to be MardiGras so he blended right inl.  He met a lovely waitress and they headed up the her room for a nightcap.  The next moring, the waitress found out that he wasn't wearing a mask and screamed loud enough to wake the whole building.  The townspeople beat and killed the Man-Gator in a bloody mess, but it was too late.  Nine months later, Jake was born. 

            He seemed normal enough until his 13th birthday when his irradiated alligator blood mutated him. , giving him teh ability to transform into a Were-Gator.  When transformed, Jake gains the proportionate strength and abilities of an alligator: incredible jaw muscles, unmatched swimming skills, an extra set of translucient eyelids, and the ability to influence the gender of his young by controling the temperature of the eggs while they incubate.  By day, he is mild mannered Jake the busboy, but at night he transforms into The Alligator Man and fights the neverending war against crime and injustice.
